30.4.10

29 April 2010

a frozen stare
a girl frigid like frost bite
but with more bark
what a mouth making wars
breaking hearts,
bone blown in the bodily catastrophe,
the condemnation of beauty,

undeniable eyes would watch her
indiscreet whispers are loud enough,
the gestures profane enough
for her to feel it melting her
down to nothing

the onset of warm years
lay waste to icicle veins
so pristine and sharp
and deadly they could
tear a part of soul
slick straight right out of its shell

here danger, here blues!
extinguished in the haze
of crazed heat waves
her pretty eyes go listless
reduced to a small body of water

the demise of the ice princess.
