It's my life
It's my time
to just recede into the dark
any darkness,
blackout, eclipse
it's my peaceful coexistence
and the denial of the earthly
finally feeling worthy
it means I'm able to stop pushing it back
and instead
mastering
owning
and transforming it
claiming it because it is mine
naturally and simply-
it's everybody's but I'm me and
I'll never be a you, a him, a she.

So I gotta take it all
and give nothing back-
I am debt free 
ready to conquer,
I am poised to attack
